Synopsis[]
会場についたアリアの父は、娘を見つけるも、家族を捨てた負い目から何も言わずに立ち去る。その姿を見つけたアリアは、『ヴァル戦』のメリアに扮するため、奥村に父の引き留めを頼む。奥村はアリアの父に声をかけ、手を変え品を変え、彼をその場に繋ぎとめる。会話の中、話題は『ヴァル戦』に移り、アリアの父は打ち切りのトラウマから『ヴァル戦』を卑下する。そんな彼に奥村は、『ヴァル戦』が自身を幸せにしたのだと叫ぶ。思いがけない言葉に座り込むアリアの父に、メリアに扮したアリアが追い付き、アリアとメリア二人の想いとして「生んでくれてありがとう」と伝え、アリアの父も感謝の言葉で返した。翌日、一般参加者として夏コミに来た一同は、四天王の一角・淡雪エリカの囲み撮影を見て、そのクオリティに圧巻されるも、今後も四人でコスプレ活動を楽しむことを誓い合う。更に4日目（最終日）、奥村とリリサはアシュフォードとリリエルに扮し、夏コミを堪能する途中、小雨という海外からのリリエルレイヤーと知り合ったことをきっかけに、二人は互いへの想いが変わっていくのを感じる。そして時期は夏休み後半に移り、漫研部は夏合宿に（クラゲ発生で海水浴客がおらず、撮影に適した）海へ向かう。
